June 15...

Well today was pretty good except for a few times when that little bugger Sassy wouldnt stop nibbling on my tail! She sure can be a pest sometimes but I love her anyway! Mom and Dad took me and Sassy for a walk today...Yaaayyy! I love when me and Mom go walking. And I really love it when Dad walks me cuz then I pretty much get to do whatever I want! LOL!!!

June 15...

Had fun fun fun all day! That Rascal boy sure has a nice chewy tail! I dont understand why it bugs him when i chew on it! Mom and Dad took us for a walk today but i didnt get to walk too much cuz Mom was holding me too much! I dont know why she wouldnt let me keep up with Rascal! hehheh Rascal really wanted to chase that go-cart that went by...personally i just dont see the thrill in that! GATHERING YORKIE INFO....

HELLO....I am trying to gather as much info as possible on Yorkies if you would like to help me out. I plan to have a Yorkie but I like to be WELL educated about a pet before I get it. If you have a Yorkie please feel free to post pics and stories here also!

Pepper is still on only 1/4 BW and 3/4 proplan too and he's already showing amazing progress. I checked his seborrhea last night when I went to brush him and it was much better, though it all came through when the brushing started. It was still better though. It turns out mum's allergic to him... She started getting hives when I blew the dandruff off of him and she's been itching a lot lately, but we couldn't find the source. I'll have to get him some special shampoo. At least he doesn't itch like he used to. I forgot to tell you, but if you go to bluebuff.com you can request a free sample that comes with a $3 coupon for your next bag of food. Mine isn't here yet, but I only ordered it a week ago. As far as the vet thing... I really wonder myself. I've decided to become a vet a while ago and I learned that nutrition classes are OPTIONAL!!!! They should be MANDATORY! Then those huge dog food companies want to sell more food, so they rely on the trust people have for their vets (and usually the vet's lack of nutritional knowledge) by getting them to recommend and sell their food. I don't see why those classes aren't mandatory when there are big companies out there tricking people into thinking their foods are nutritionally complete and healthy, when instead they consist of carcinogens, questionable preservatives, roadkill, grains which are useless to dogs except in forming pesky allergies, vitamins that don't make it through the boiling process so that it's on the bag but not in the food, and euthanized pets (the sodium pentobarbital isn't denatured when boiled)... WOW. In my opinion... yes... the vets must be stupid, but not all of them. Willy's vet told mum to cook for him because it's better for him, so I guess that one knew. I feel so bad that Pepper's been eating that stuff for 7 years now and I can't wait until the rest of that food is GONE! Let me know how it goes and if you see a difference!

Indeed, the news of Chansey was very sad. I was with my boyfriend when they received the news of the cancer, through the decision making process, and through the funeral... it was very tough and I couldn't help remembering what happened to Willy. She was a very sweet dog and was the first dog to help Pepper with his dog aggression problems. She had such a calm energy towards him and I thank her for that because it certainly went a long way. She was only 8 years old. We're going to try to keep his other dog, Bandit, and Pepper in good health.
