Profile contests

On occasion, we have a "Profile" contest and are eager to see what the community develops. For the January contest, we'd love to see some "Changing Seasons" pages out there! (Some members are eyeballs deep in Winter where others are moving to Summer).

Please check out our Seasons Profile Event. If you intend to "dress up" your page and be part of this contest, just RSVP as Yes to the event. Everyone can then come to this event (as well as several other places on the site) to see who is participating.

The last week in January will be dedicated to voting for an overall site winner. This individual will not only be featured on the members page, but will have a snapshot of with a link to their profile posted at the very top of every page here on PLP. A special certificate is created for the winner to proudly display on their profile, along with a small gift from the site. There will also be a second and third place ranking for this contest, and certificates will be provided for these profiles.

Voting will be handled as normal where you go to the Vote Here Profile to cast your vote, and, if the demand is high enough, we will post a poll for voting. Voting information will be announced closer to the actual voting time.
