Dogs need to walk. Dogs cant be indoors or in the backyard all day. Why? dogs naturaly need to migrate somewhere. I take my dog on an average of 2, 35 minute bike runs every day. Dogs need a minunum of 40 minutes out of the house, walking. Not in a car or in a fenced area. Fun ways to walk your dog, bike rides, scooter walks, jogging, running, walking, picnic or outdoor party. Taking a dog to a park is good too. Try taking the dog to the pet stores like petsmart and petco, they allow pets. Some… Continue

"Resolution #1: I will eat less and exercise more.
Too many nights on the couch, too many dog biscuits and too little time running around the local dog park has made me a little, well, fluffier.
I don't think the old "I'm-just-big-boned" excuse will work anymore. I resolve to bug my owner to take me out to the doggy park several times a week.
Resolution #2: I will beg less
I've got begging down to a fine art – he's puddy in my… Continue

Admit it: You sleep with your dog because he or she is very good in bed. You’re not alone: According to the American Pet Products
Manufacturing Association, [ www.appma.org .] no less than 42 percent of dogs now sleep in the same bed as their owners, up from 34 percent in 1998.
Why is that? Simple: human relationships are fraught with complications, but dogs… Continue

My mother just loves hedgehogs and wanted one for 10 years before my boyfriend and I got Kitty for her two Christmas's ago. Kitty is albino and not as outgoing as a normal hedgehog because albinism affects her ability to see. Hedgehogs don't see well anyway, but an albino is practically blind... So Kitty is very skittish and huffy. My mum got word of a hedgehog… Continue

I have no idea why I am writing this. Believe it or not I feel guilty and in a way disloyal to my long time veternarian of 119 years. He, himself is a good person and awesome vet. A 3 hour wait time and time again, year after year has just warn me down. Out of loyalty to him and his services I stayed. He has always treated my animals well and healed their many illnesses and wounds.
This has been a rough couple of years for vet bills with Shyann's spinal surgery, two seperate, huge cystic… Continue
