If "In Loving Memory of your Pet Angel": (and you want to share the dates) Please give their name.
Moo Moo - UNKNOWN - 31st Jan 2007 (approx 8months)
About Me/Them: (Please ask your Pet Kid(s) what they want you to say about them.)
Oakley - Oakley is a White and Tabby Domestic shorthair. He is the more boystrous and dominant one. He likes to play all the time and does tend to bully his brother if he wants to chill. Has a big obsession with the bath room. Will sit in the bath and play with running water and loves to watch the toilet flushing. STRANGE!
Oscar - is a big softie. Ive got a feeling he's gonna be a big chubba when he's older. He's also a little bit smaller than Oakley but that doesn't stop his from sticking up for himself when Oakley picks on him. He likes to have his tummy tickled and is always the 1st to come and have a snuggle.
Both love eachother to pieces
Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?
Well, we unfortunatly lost our beloved Moo Moo over the new year and I miss her so much. We decided a week later that it was too quiet without her and went to look at our local rescue home. We thought as it was around xmas and we knew that a lot of animals are abandoned around that time we would adopt straight away. Thats when we came across Oscar, Oakley and Mum and 3 bros and sisters. The were the last 2 that hadn't been reserved so we couldnt resist and took them both home. Its wonderfull having them around. Our parrot 'Crackers' was lonely too as she is so used to having cats around. We brought them home on the 6th January. They were a bit quite (as expected) but they have really come out of their shell now and have claimed space as their own. Much to our delight. Will keep you all posted with their progress.
Oscar and Oakley saw snow for the first time today. They were sitting in the widow for hours looking up at the sky in confusion. They were trying to catch the flakes that were falling on the window sil. I have posted a video of them.
We went to see the vet today for the boys 2nd injections. I have to say they were so well behaved. No fuss and not one meow. They were purring away and sat nicely on the vets table. Obviously the inj. was a bit uncomfortable but the were still happy as larry. So well done boys.............until next time. There gonna hate me soooo much!
I would like to introduce the newest additions to my family. Oscar and Oakley. They were adopted from a rescue center on 6th Jan 2008. I would like to keep you all informed of their progress. WATCH THIS SPACE!!
Hey! I hope this is the same Erika who wanted to know how to insert YouTube videos in your profile - - if not, my apologies. :-) I tried to catch you in the chat box. If you are referring to your profile questions/answers, here are the instructions:
From YouTube, you copy the code from right hand side of screen that says "Embed". Just click in field to copy.
Then you paste (Ctrl V) that embedded code into one of the long fields in your profile. I used virtual pet field in my profile.
