Dish washing liquid is great. Just be SURE not to use one with Bleach.

Thanks,

Jen

I found a way to get rid of pesky flea"s, use dishwashing liquid to bath your pet and then wash your bedding and pets bedding and carpets and rugs furniture and anycloth like material that the flea"s can live or lay eggs in,it kills the flea"s ,but you must let it sit on there for a few minutes and you can see the dead flea"s.We used this and it work"s,it was all we had to treat with ,a few years ago when we rescued a flea ridden puppy haven"t had any since we used the dish washing liquid.

Gladys I found a good tip for ants and mice and won't hurt the birds, get a fine corn meal, spread it around, make sure it's dry, the ant and mice eat it and then they go for water and it expands in their throat and they die it works really well. It has TO BE DRY the area or it will expand before they eat it. They take it back to the nest and it kills the young.. Try it and let me know ok HUGs wandap

I have watch many a dog get loose from it's companion
for a variety of reasons, so I need everyone to know this:

When you dog does get loose,
ALWAYS PRAISE THEM for returning to you.
NEVER SCOLD THEM!
They will associate the return with happiness
thus want to return.

If you scold them, they will associate that with returning
and not want to
return.

Skin Allergies:

If your doggie has a tendency to have red skin due to allergies, a great home remedy to give some relief is 100% pure Witch Hazel. It is a great astringent with soothing properties, that's even great for acne or other human skin irritations. You should be able to purchase a bottle for a few dollars in any store that carries pharmaceuticals.

Witch Hazel Use:

Saturate a cotton ball and apply on irritated skin or hot spots, for several days.

Baking Soda works well too:

Apply a mixture of baking soda and water to irritated skin. Or, a great way to sooth your doggie's irritated skin quickly - - fill a sink or tub with warm water. Add several tablespoons of baking soda and mix in the water by sloshing/moving water with your clean hands. Try to encourage your dog to soak for a few minutes, the longer the better.

These tips could work for cats as well. Since I do not own a cat, I can't say for sure.
