Pets are not ours to own but from God on loan.  So sorry for your loss

Feeling Lonely

When I feel Lonely
Since you have gone away
I look to the night sky on a clear day.
The star that to me, appears to be bright,
Is my loved one,
Looking upon me during the night.
The lights of heaven are what shows through
As my loved one watches all that I do.
When I feel lonely for the one that we love,
I Look to the Heavens in the night sky above.

Regardless of the type of pet we have, they become part of the family.  Everywhere we go in the house, or yard they follow, when we are lonely or feeling sad, they know.  They come to us and look at us with their round beautiful eyes, saying to us "I understand...I am here for you".  I don't know how many times one of my cats through the years came to me to comfort me when I was going through a difficult day...or just needed to feel them beside me.

I have suffered loss, and I can sympathize with you at this time of your loss.  My prayers go out to you and your family and your loved one..who has now crossed over the Rainbow Bridge...just waiting for you to get to the other side.
