While I don’t have a Great Dane, I do have a Great Pyrenees!

Two of them in fact…

Bo is the oldest of the two and the father of Rayne (our little mistake). I got him three Christmas’s ago after my own dog had been stolen out of a bordering kennel a few towns up. I was lonely and  becoming more and more depressed when I came across the little add on the window of that gas station. 

My own dog had been a husky…and while this was one of the furthest things for that, I fell in love with his fluffy face. I called the woman and arranged a meeting quickly, purchasing the next day and taking him home.

He’s never changed one bit and brings so much joy into my life! He’s protective and loves to simply lay in the grass with his head on my chest and nap.

His daughter is about the same way, always jumping in our truck the moment we open the door because she knows it’s time for a ride or a run.

They get into trouble…make messes, but in the end they are just giant polar teddy bears.

Not a Great Dane, but I do have a 100 pound Rottweiler who is a very gentle giant.  He is the most loving and docile dog I've ever known.  When toddlers come to him to pet him, he lies down and if they want to climb up on him, he lies still.  He is the first Rottweiler to be certified as a service dog through Happy Tails Service Dogs in Phoenix AZ

I have four femaleShiloh Shepherds, breed club ISSR and my fingers crossed to get a male sometimes this summer.

My youngest female looks like she will be my largest girl yet. At 7 months old she was 84 pounds and 28" at the withers.

Her brothers was 102 pounds and 30" at the withers at 7 months.

I don't have a Great Dane but I have had two Great Pyrenees. They are gone now but I will always miss them.

I have a Great Dane who is almost 3 months old. His name is Brody. We adore him...though this piddling inside the house has got to stop...lol. I know it will.
