Hello everyone,

I got a cedar tree seedling at the California State Fair about 2 weeks ago and I thought it would be fun to share updates on how it grows.

As of right now it is just 2ft tall but in about a yr it should be over 5ft tall and once fully grown itll be over 75ft tall.

Here is a photo of the tree. Next fall I am going to plant it in half of a wine barrole which it can live in forever.

Does it have holes in the bucket?

You cant see them in this picture since it doest really show the bucket but they are on the side at the very bottom..so not under the bucket but as far down on the side as we could get them

Good job, to strength the tree slowly , let the plant dry out so that dirt is away from the sides, find a good fertilizer honey water soluble. Water with fertilizer when plant is dry and it will drink more than if the plant is wet or moist! U should see my flowers huge This year !!

I will defently do that.. We make our own compost which is what I planted it in. Id love to see your flowers..i take so many pictures of flowers that I see on my walks or of the ones we have growing
