Comment by Kathi on December 8, 2010 at 1:29pm: I have fostered a couple of occasions, but only for a couple of weeks at a time. I truly have to give a loud hurrah and cheers to anyone who fosters. It take a lot to take in a cat or dog and then give them up even knowing that they are going to their forever home. I become to emotionally attached so for me it is better that I do volunteer work, which is difficult in itself. I would really love to hear how others handle fostering, it is a subject that is very important and I am glad you started this group Sarah.
